Haunted West Frankfort

NIGHTMARE has been serving up scares in S. Illinois for 10 years. We are the ONLY haunted attraction which gives 100 percent of our proceeds to charity through our mother organization, SI SCARE Association (check that out on fbook too).

Scaring and caring…10 years strong

Company Overview
NIGHTMARE was founded in 2003 by Tara Fasol-Chambers in an effort to put on a fundraising event for a local family. It was a huge success and has continued and grown ever since.

Through the mother organization, also founded by Fasol-Chambers, Southern Illinois SCARE Association, a committee and team of volunteers work 365 days a year to do charity through Southern Illinois, improving the lives of those in need.

Our haunted attraction is our largest event and we pride ourselves on being one of the oldest and longest running haunted attractions in Southern Illinois and one of the best.

Our event is not all mechanics to look at…we have more real actors than any other haunted house in Southern Illinois. You don’t walk through our house, you work your way through obstacles, mazes, darkess, and other extreme conditions that tickle all your senses and leave you totally terrified.

It takes over a half an hour to run through our house, longer for those who freeze in fear…we occupy the entire second floor of the Elk’s Lodge, the former Masonic Building in West Frankfort. That is about 5,000 square feet of pure darkness and horror.
Our event is sure to please and when you buy your ticket you also know that you have directly helped a person in need, which is our goal.
Others can try and match our scare factor but they can never match our care factor!

Southern Illinois leading Haunted Attraction! The others can’t match our scare factor….can’t match our care factor!
